The ACA has brought a great deal of change to the world of flex, FSA, and health benefits. Hickman will walk us through the Flex timeline to present-day challenges. Part One will cover the current state of Flex and account-based plan compliance issues, focusing on Section 125 and ERISA requirements for account-based plans such as the cafeteria plan proposed regulations, ERISA plan asset/trust requirements, discrimination testing, TPA licensing requirements and HIPAA. Part Two will address the Cadillac tax and proposed legislation impacting FSAs and HSAs. In addition, Hickman will debunk compliance myths related to individual health coverage arrangements and wellness programs. Ample time will be allowed throughout for interactive discussion.
